Stephen Shand, convicted of raping and then strangling to death a popular young athlete, has been sentenced to 40 years to life for his crimes. He will not be eligible for parole for 40 years, and waived his right to appeal any aspect of the case, as part of the plea agreement. The judge finalized the deal and pronounced sentence after victim impact statements from victim Katie Filiberti's mother and young sister were read.
Fuckin scumbag. Personally I hope he gets raped to death with a toilet plunger before he ever talks to a parole board. Piece of shit.
