Pancake brawl at Denny's

According to some reports, the fight was over maple syrup...

When one woman in a US restaurant asked a fellow diner if she could borrow the maple syrup, she got more than she bargained for. "Bitch, your pancakes look fine to me," came the response, sparking a brawl at the pancake house.

But according to police, the incident was sparked by road rage...

Despite reports that a wild melee early Sunday at a Denny’s in Massachsetts was triggered by a dispute over maple syrup, a police report indicates that the combatants had earlier been involved in road rage incidents while en route to the eatery from a Chicopee sports bar...

Interestingly, even though there is a video, police say they cannot make an arrest becasue the fight did not happen in the presence of a police officer.

R.I.P. Detective John Falcone

I'm not a big fan of the police at all, as many of you know. But at the same time, I believe in giving credit where credit is due. This man died a true hero's death. Cop or no. He didn't take a bullet breaking into grandma's house at 2 a.m. looking for a bag of weed. He took a bullet in the head, on the street, trying to save a baby girl.

Rest in Peace sir.

Restaurant Refuses To Serve TSA Agents

Don't bite the hand that feeds you...

Fed up with what he views as crappy treatment from the TSA, the owner of a restaurant near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has decided to put all TSA agents on his No-Eat List.

"We have posted signs on our doors basically saying that they aren't allowed to come into our business," one employee tells travel journalist Christopher Elliott. "We have the right to refuse service to anyone."

She says that whenever a TSA agent attempts to dine at the restaurant, "we turn our backs and completely ignore them, and tell them to leave... Their kind aren't welcomed in our establishment."

The restaurant claims that 90% of its patrons are in agreement with their stance and that the local police have actually helped escort TSA workers of the premises.

"Until TSA agents start treating us with the respect and dignity that we deserve, then things will change for them in the private sector," says the employee.
