4th of July Checkpoint... Charlie

Just a few notes I made watching this vid:

In some states, if you are traveling in a motor vehicle and you have signed a Driver License contract with the state, you are required to show that license on demand, with or without probable cause. In other words, they can in fact demand your ID at a checkpoint. I believe NY is one of those states.

Notice how the deputy asks, "are you a lawyer or something?" It wasn't a wise-ass remark. If he had identified himself as an attorney, that makes him an officer of the court and thereby enjoys certain legal privileges. (Doesn't matter if he is a defense attorney or a prosecutor.)

A K-9 alert is indeed probable cause to search a vehicle, despite the fact that dogs are only about 40% accurate, according to some studies. This "probable cause" is also despite the fact that many K9's are not certified, or their training certs have expired. And of course, a handler can simply train his dog to alert on subtle cues rather than a detection of contraband, drastically lowering the accuracy percentage even further. (Some facts from K9 trainers themselves.)

Plane Crash Caught On Tape Tied to Obama Conspiracy Theories (w/VIDEO)

Plane crashes have often been viewed by conspiracy-theorists as a favored method of assassination, and probably rightly so. Such disasters appear random, and can even hide cover other evidence such as genuine cause of death. It's no surprise that evil-doers would go to such lengths to dispatch their marked target. While those of us who are not ruthless murderers might look on the premise with some incredulity, the truth is that there are very powerful people in the world who will go to any lengths to protect, and to grow their power. Knowing this, conspiracy-theorists are willing to take a second look at events that the average person would most likely simply write off as coincidence or random tragedy.

Take the case of Beverly Eckert for example. The 9/11 widow was a tireless activist, who could not be bought off, seeking answers and reform. In other words she was a major thorn in the side of the government.

Eckert was killed on February 12, 2009, in the crash of Colgan Air Flight 3407 outside of Buffalo, New York. She was traveling to Buffalo for a gathering with her family to mark what would have been Rooney's 58th birthday on February 15. A ceremony had also been scheduled at Canisius High School in which she was to award a student with a memorial scholarship in Rooney's honor.

A week before her death, Eckert met with U.S. President Barack Obama, to discuss detainees at Guantanamo and other matters. -via Wikipedia

It's little wonder why skeptics of coincidence took a closer look, and why conspiracy-theorists decided to posit their own theories about her death.

Of course, there is no real proof that Obama, his handlers or his cronies, had anything to do with the crash. Perhaps it was just coincidence. But then again, that's what we would all be expected to believe if it wasn't an accident.

Skip now to another small plane. Instead of flying covered in ice through a New York blizzard, this time it is a plane flying over the sun-drenched blue waters off the coast of Hawaii. It is December 11, 2013, and on-board the single-engine Cessna is Loretta Fuddy, director of the 50th state's health department.

The 65-year old official had been at the center of the ongoing Obama birth-certificate controversy, when she authenticated and released the President's "long-form" Hawaiian birth certificate back in April 2011. Despite her official position and the apparent credibility that goes along with it, several forensic experts have challenged the authenticity of the birth-certificate. Affidavits were filed by a cold-case investigator to that affect, in May of 2013.

Ms. Fuddy was the only person who died on that bright Hawaiian pre-Christmas day, when the small plane loaded with  8 other people dropped into the water about a half-mile from the coastline. None of the other people on board suffered serious injury, and a 70-year old man swam to shore to seek help.

The cause of her death has not been made public, and there are discrepancies in reports on how she may have died. Officials have stated that her body was recovered from inside the aircraft, after the other passengers and pilot were rescued. This contradicts the accounts by passengers themselves though, who have said that she made it out of the plane alive along with everyone else, and without any apparent serious injury. One passenger recounted in a press statement how he helped her put on her life-jacket.

“I could not understand how that could have happened at the time, excuse me, that she could have passed. I didn’t understand how it could have happened,” -Pilot of Crashed Plane

The wreckage was spotted by another pilot and his girlfriend who happened to be taking a leisure flight in the area. Had it not been for them, a rescue effort would have been seriously delayed, as the pilot of the downed Cessna had made no distress call. The spotters are reported to have seen all nine people in the water, again contradicting the statement by officials that Fuddy's remains were found still inside the fuselage of the wrecked plane.

Early report found on: YouTube

One passenger managed to actually record the crash and escape.

(This edit, an ABC news exclusive does leave something to be desired. The anchor's commercial for the camera at the beginning of the report is as cringe-worthy as her exaggeration of the plane 'spiraling' into the ocean and unnecessary blow-by-blow. But otherwise, it is good footage of the actual crash nonetheless.)

Conspiracy? Coincidence? It really is up to you to decide.

One thing is true though, 8 out of 9 people on that plane were very lucky.

Second Anal Probe Raises Stink In New Mexico

We first summarized here how a man endured a 14-hour long anal-probing ordeal by order of law-enforcement after being stopped for a minor traffic infraction. As if that story weren't horrid enough, it turns out there is more to the story. Another case of a man being forced, against his will, to be subject of a similar search after failing to use his directional signal.

Further investigation by KOB4 Eyewitness News has uncovered that the same police K-9 unit had apparently signaled a false alert in both instances. The fact that the dog is not certified to be a drug-sniffing dog in the first place, could explain why.

Cases like these, while shocking, are hardly isolated incidents either. We, as a society, must draw a line at some point to say enough is enough, and demand some accountability from police officers in particular and from our justice system as a whole.

While these officers may be on the hot-seat at the moment, it is unlikely that they will face any penalty equal to the ordeal they have forced these citizens to endure. Moreover, it is unlikely that any substantive policy changes will come of it, which might prevent similar incidents from happening again in the future, anywhere in our nation.

Incidents like these are not exceptions to the rule, they are the rule... of law in police-state Amerika.

Brokeback Traffic Stop as Man Gets Rectal Reaming Over How He Stood

After shopping at a Wal-Mart store, David Eckert failed to make a complete stop at a stop-sign before he pulled into traffic to leave the plaza. He was stopped by police for the infraction.

The officer asked Eckert to step out of the vehicle. At that point, law-enforcement claim they observed that Eckert appeared to be "clenching his buttocks" and that such an observation was grounds for a search for drugs. They also claim then that a drug-sniffing K-9 alerted to the scent of drugs on the car seat. This all became grounds for a judge to sign a warrant, ordering a search of the man's anal cavity.

Police brought their suspect to a medical facility where doctors refused to perform the task, on ethical grounds.

Police then brought their suspect to another facility, in another county, where the search warrant was not valid. That medical facility proceeded with the anal-probing however, over the continued objections of Mr. Eckert.

This is how they performed the search, according to KOB Eyewitness News 4 :

1. Eckert's abdominal area was x-rayed; no narcotics were found.

2. Doctors then performed an exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.

3. Doctors performed a second exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.

4. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

5. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a second time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

6. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a third time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

7. Doctors then x-rayed Eckert again; no narcotics were found.

8. Doctors prepared Eckert for surgery, sedated him, and then performed a colonoscopy where a scope with a camera was inserted into Eckert's anus, rectum, colon, and large intestines. No narcotics were found.

The Chief of police would not comment on the case, and referred reporters to an attorney. When asked what assurances he could give that people would not be abused or violated by his police officers, the Chief replied simply:

"We follow the law in every aspect and we follow policies and protocols that we have in place." -Chief Brandon Gigante

When reporters tried to get a statement from the medical center that performed the procedures, they did not bother to defend their actions, but simply replied "no comment."

They did however, send Mr. Eckert a bill, and are now threatening to sue him if he does not pay it.

"If the officers in Hidalgo County and the City of Deming are seeking warrants for anal cavity searches based on how they're standing and the warrant allows doctors at the Gila Hospital of Horrors to go in and do enemas and colonoscopies without consent, then anyone can be seized and that's why the public needs to know about this." -Shannon Kennedy, Attorney

Black Box Mandate Will Let Gov't Track, Tax, and Remotely Control All Vehicles

Federal government planning black box vehicle mandate to track, tax and even remotely control all personal vehicles

(NaturalNews) The federal government is working on a plan that would mandate black box tracking devices be installed in every vehicle, with real-time uploading of vehicle location, speed and mileage to government authorities. This Orwellian technology is already technically feasible and will be promoted as a way to increase "highway safety" while boosting government revenues from mileage taxation.

"The devices, which track every mile a motorist drives and transmit that information to bureaucrats, are at the center of a controversial attempt in Washington and state planning offices to overhaul the outdated system for funding America's major roads," reports the LA Times.

"[Congress is] exploring how, over the next decade, they can move to a system in which drivers pay per mile of road they roll over. Thousands of motorists have already taken the black boxes, some of which have GPS monitoring, for a test drive."

There are three hugely important realizations to glean from all this:

Unarmed Man Shot Dead Running to Police for Help After Serious Car Wreck

Police in North Carolina shot and killed a man running toward them Saturday morning -- but he may have just been looking for help after a car wreck. Officers responded to a "breaking and entering" 911 call at a home in Charlotte. The homeowner told dispatchers that a man had been knocking on her door repeatedly. Police say that when they got to the scene, a man matching the caller's description ran toward them. One of the officers fired his stun gun, but it was "unsuccessful." Another officer then opened fire, police said. Jonathan Ferrell died at the scene. He was shot several times. He was unarmed. Police now believe Ferrell was seeking assistance after crashing his car. Paramedic Escapes Charges After Critical Head-On Wreck

In May of this year there was a head-on crash between an ambulance and a full-size pickup truck on a semi-rural road in upstate New York. The damage was extensive, but thankfully no one was killed. There were serious injuries though.

The driver of the ambulance, a 43-year old paramedic, was in critical condition after he was extricated from the twisted wreck. He was airlifted to the Albany Medical Center. Also in the ambulance was his 22-year old girlfriend, an EMT. It was reported that she suffered a head-injury but that her condition was less serious. They were both on duty at the time of the crash, moving the ambulance from one station to another, but they were not on an emergency call and there was no patient on-board. The wreck occurred just before 7 a.m.

An 18-year old male had to be extricated from the mangled pickup truck he had been driving. but it was reported that he had only minor injuries. His 21-year old male passenger also escaped without serious injury.

You can read local reporting at the folling links:

Daily Freeman

Times-Herald Record

The investigation has determined that the wreck occurred when when the ambulance traveled over the center double-yellow line and struck the pickup truck which was traveling in the opposite direction. No tickets were issued in the accident.

Wait what? No tickets were issued?

According to a report from YNN:

Ulster County Undersheriff Frank Faluotico says it’s not uncommon for tickets to not be issued in accidents like this and the investigation has been completed.

Accidents like this one? Does he mean unintentional accidents, or wrecks in which first-responders are involved and shown favoritism?

Perhaps it could be best summed up by the comments of a local person, who wishes to remain anonymous but had this to say:

Having worked side by side with people from Mobile Life this wreck certainly put my stomach in a knot, and I am certainly glad it didn't turn out any worse than it did. But I find it absolutely ridiculous that there were no tickets issued. It was obviously not intentional, that's why they call it an accident. But the paramedic crossed over the line into oncoming traffic. That is what caused the wreck. And you can damn well bet that if it was YOU who made that mistake, and hit an emergency vehicle, they would have thrown the book at you. And if I was the person in the other car, I would be in a fit of rage right now that the person who injured me was not going to be held accountable.

Precisely. An accident is an accident. Yet tickets are issued at accidents almost universally except, it seems, when a person wearing a badge is at fault.

Now don't get me wrong here, I am thankful to the job that first-responders do in saving lives and coping with all sorts of human tragedy. Especially firefighters, and of course emergency medical personnel who's sole purpose in life is to save lives. But yet again, we see another example of how there are two classes of citizens in this country when it comes to how the law is applied. There are the favored, the police, their friends and family, and then there are the rest of us who pay their salaries and get no such special privilege.

Stink of Conspiracy Surrounds Burned Wreckage of Dead Reporter

Hong Kong to Newark Flight Into Alarming Mystery

United Airlines Flight 116 from Hong Kong to Newark, NJ was met by Federal agents after a passenger caused a disturbance on board the plane, a little more than halfway though the 16-hour flight.

It was initially reported by many news agencies, citing the FBI as their source, that the man claimed to have poisoned the passengers aboard the plane. This turned out to be false however. Another instance of media and government lies.

What really happened is that a man named Daniel M. Perry began speaking loudly in an anti-government rant while also saying that he was in fear for his life. During his rant he claimed to have been poisoned with a dart shot into his neck. He claimed that he was being transferred by the CIA from Hong Kong, where whistle-blower Edward Snowden outed crimes by US spy agencies, to a government "safe house" where he would never be heard from again. Perry went on to claim that he had secret information to share, that Snowden was "right," that government workers' lives are in danger, and pleaded that the flight be diverted to Canada.

The Binghamton, NY native claimed to work for the American embassy in Abu Dhabi. Though that has not been specifically confirmed, sources have admitted he was indeed a Federal employee. He also declared his name to passengers, his social security number, and other identifying information. Some reports claim that he is married to a Chinese spy.

So was he really just some raving lunatic on a plane, was he telling the truth, or was this incident a psyop itself of some sort? We will probably never know. But this incident certainly opens another curious chapter in the saga of the the new spy wars American agents now find themselves embroiled in.

It should also be pointed out here, that the man who was hauled off by agents did not actually threaten anyone. So is it a crime now to speak out against the government, even if you are just some wacko who has no clue about anything? Worse though, is the thought that this Federal employee might have had real reason to be alarmed, and to plead for help from his fellow passengers.

"He did not seem excessively disturbed. He was not running up and down the aisles. He was not attempting to hurt anyone. He was not moving about in any agitated fashion. He was just yelling in a loud voice to make certain that everyone heard him." -Passenger

Russians Out for a Drive Wind Up In Canada

Russian explorers headed home Thursday after proving it is possible to drive from Russia to Canada across the North Pole, in buses with bloated tires over drifting ice, using a pickaxe to clear the way.

Their two-and-a-half-month hitherto untried odyssey aimed to road test the hand-crafted vehicles on ice and water, conduct a few scientific experiments, and bring together a band of adventurers drawn to the vast and pristine Arctic, expedition leader Vassili Ielaguine said during a stopover in Ottawa.

At the "speed of a (farm) tractor" or about 10 kilometers per hour (6.2 miles/h) and carrying three tonnes of donated diesel fuel and supplies, they traveled more than 4,000 kilometers (2,485 miles) in 70 days from the Russian archipelago Severnaya Zemlya (or Earth North), after being dropped off by a Russian icebreaker, to the pole and then to Resolute Bay in Canada's far north.

Cops Run Over, Kill Man for Seat Belt Violation

We'z gonna safety you to death!

I found this article at CopBlock.com

It was originally posted by Eric Peters

Not “buckling up for safety” can get you killed all right – by a cop.

That’s what happened to Deland, Florida resident Marlon Brown about a week ago. Brown was killed – run over – by Deland Police Officer James Harris, who pursued him with his squad car after Brown tried to run away on foot after being stopped over a seatbelt violation (see here).

Brown, a popular neighborhood barber, hadn’t done anything to anyone. His “crime” was to have asserted self-ownership, which in a slave society is the gravest offense. He probably thought to himself – I am a grown man. No one has any more right to demand I wear a seatbelt than they have a right to insist I eat my veggies or wear a sweater because it’s cold out. Whether eating veggies or wearing a sweater on a cold day – or “buckling up for safety” – is a good idea or a bad idea is  no one else’s business. Certainly not a cop’s. Aren’t cops supposed to fight crime? When did the job of a cop become parenting or life-coaching at gunpoint? Who the hell are these people to point guns at me over my decision to not “buckle up”?

Brown likely had such thoughts as he saw the wig-wag lights of Officer Harris in his rear view. Then, he probably got mad. I know I would have. You are driving along, minding your business, causing no harm to anyone. Then you glance up and see the bright lights – and the buzz-cut head – of Officer Unfriendly. This costumed menace is about to threaten you with violence and – at minimum – shove a piece of paper in your face that will demand what amounts to a ransom payment, or else (“else” being jail).

And so, Brown attempted to flee. It ended up costing him his life.

Officer safety was never at issue. Brown merely tried to get away from an obnoxious costumed thug who had no business bothering him in the first place. But that was sufficient to justify summary execution by motor vehicle.

It is not an isolated happenstance anymore. Hardly a week goes by without some godawful report of a citizen being killed by cops over absolutely nothing. A murder – and that’s exactly what this was – prefaced by some petty affront to the authority of someone in a state-issued costume. Talk back, dare to question – and the Tazers come out. Attempt to ward off the blows – and you will hear “Stop Resisting!” as the blows continue to rain down. They may or may not stop at merely a beating, or a kicked-in skull.

Marlon Brown learned just how far it can go. A witness to the event, Sabrina Waldron, stated, “After the car hit Marlon and landed on him the back end of it was up in the air.” Thus ended Brown’s life.

Was it worth it? Was it right? A man is dead – for no reason. Or rather, for a very bad reason.

In a sane society, Officer Harris would have had no legal pretext for bothering Marlon Brown. He may have looked askance at him for electing to not wear his seat belt – just as I may look askance at a grossly obese person ordering a double cheeseburger and 64 ounce Coke – but insofar as Officer Harris’ legal authority was concerned, he (in a sane society) would be powerless to intervene. That’s how it ought to be. For the same reason, most of us (dear god, let us hope) do not want costumed men with guns rousting us out of bed to go for morning jogs or to supervise our dinner menus, threatening us with nightsticks and Tazers and guns if we don’t abide by their “recommendations.”

That is where we are headed if people do not come to their senses, and learn to discipline their inner busybody – if only for their own sake. Because most definitely, what goes around will come around. You may find it appalling that some people choose to go unbuckled. Resist the desire to insist they do so. Because if you do insist, you’ve just given license to the inner busybodies of all those people out there – among whom, no doubt, there will be busybodies who just can’t abide something about the way you live your life, whether it be some “risky” hobby, or some “unhealthy” habit. No small corner of what used to be your life will be left to you. You will be chained to a collective and compelled to Submit & Obey.

The antidote to this horror is self-ownership. You own you. I own me. Neither of us has any claim on the other that’s enforceable at gunpoint. Feel free to suggest or to recommend, but when it comes to the use of force, the one and only legitimate justification is self-defense. Otherwise, leave me alone – and I will leave you alone.

If that had been the law in Deland, Florida, Marlon Brown would still be alive.

And James Harris would not be a murderer.

Wounded Marine Humiliated By TSA Inspections

This is certainly not the first time we have heard about the TSA doing inspections that challenge our sensibilities.

Today, the latest headline on the subject is about a United States Marine who had his legs blown off in combat, but was made to endure a rigorous inspection by TSA authorities in Phoenix.

TSA agents 'humiliated' wounded Marine with aggressive inspection: report

Reading the story, it's certainly enough to piss off any patriot. The fact that the man is a Marine seems to be the focus of the attention being given the report and the Congressman.

Rep. Duncan Hunter said in his letter Monday that the Marine, who is still on active duty and showed TSA agents his military identification, was still forced to undergo that scrutiny... The congressman asked TSA to detail its procedures to inspecting wounded U.S. troops at airports, and to consider whether agents should show “situational awareness.”

But should it really matter if the man is active duty or not? Should it matter how he was injured or what his disability is? Not to the TSA it shouldn't. Not if we are going to accept that their job really is in the interest of public safety as the government claims.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not unsympathetic at all to this Marine, his sacrifices, and the crappy ordeal they put him through there at the airport. But really, why should it even be considered that he be exempt from this sort of humiliation and pain that the rest of the people in this nation must endure?

After all, a terrorist could pretend to be a wounded veteran, show a fraudulent I.D. that he was an active-duty member of the military, or even actually be an active-duty member of the armed forces while bent on destruction and mayhem. This is all just as possible as, let's say, airline pilots themselves having things like guns on-board aircraft.

Or for that matter, the TSA agents themselves could be terrorists.

Maybe it's a good thing that troops are getting a slap-in-the-face wake up call about what is happening here in this country. This is the freedom they are fighting for.
