Child Molester Cop Gets No Prison Time

Of all the crimes out there, there is probably none more heinous than molesting children. The public demand harsh penalties against pedophile sexual predators. Yet in this case we see that the double standard of justice continues, when the perpetrator is a police officer. This man admitted in court to molesting his step daughter beginning when she was just 6 years old. He escaped charges of molesting her two sisters altogether as part of a plea agreement. Nonetheless, this conviction could have landed him in the slammer for 20 years, but instead, the judge suspended the sentence and placed the former police Captain on just 2 years of supervised probation. Absolutely disgusting.
