This is why it is so dangerous to give police so much power, without any accountability. Why should we blindly trust the police in any given situation, when things like this can happen? Now granted, not every cop is a murderer. But that is still no reason to give police a blank check to do whatever they want, whenever they want, to the detriment of public safety.
