WALKILL, N.Y. -- An off-duty NYPD police officer has been
arrested in the Town of Walkill after police said he sexually assaulted
an underage boy.
According to police, Rosandre Burgher, 26,
engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a 16-year-old on various
occasions between February and June of this year.
Burgher has
been charged with criminal sexual act, unlawfully dealing with a child
and endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held in Orange
County Jail on bail.
