The following is the cover statement taken directly from teh United Nations website:
Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.
Agenda 21, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the Statement of principles for the Sustainable Management of Forests were adopted by more than 178 Governments at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, 3 to 14 June 1992.
The Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) was created in December 1992 to ensure effective follow-up of UNCED, to monitor and report on implementation of the agreements at the local, national, regional and international levels. It was agreed that a five year review of Earth Summit progress would be made in 1997 by the United Nations General Assembly meeting in special session.
The full implementation of Agenda 21, the Programme for Further Implementation of Agenda 21 and the Commitments to the Rio principles, were strongly reaffirmed at the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 26 August to 4 September 2002.
Doesn't really sound too scary at first glance. Sustainable development seems like a noble effort. Besides, if any of this was really that important, you probably would have already heard about it before now, right? Oh, you didn't get the memo? Just recently, commercials have begun appearing in television in order to start actively brainwashing Americans.
Remove your footprints? Seeing that little "no" symbol over the woman's feet seemed rather anti-human being to me. Sounds like they want to "end the killing" of nature by starting the killing of people. But surely that can't really be what they are saying there. They don't mean it literally, right? They must be talking about our "carbon footprint" right? But notice they never said that. Now ask yourself if you think they were just talking about a carbon footprint, or something much more literal, as you watch this next commercial.
Downright chilling. Even more so when you consider the rest of the information available on Agenda 21. Their very own commercials validate the most sinister claims by those conspiracy-theorists over the years, who have examined these UN mandates.
There is plenty of material out there by folks looking to expose the agenda and to bring it to the attention of the public, but most of the time these folks were written off as kooks and crackpots. Maybe it's time we go back and take a second look at what they have been saying. Here is a brief overview, to help you put those two commercials in perspective.
Now if you have the time, here is a longer, more in-depth presentation explaining Agenda 21.
If all of that seems a little complex, there is one place you can look where it spells out precisely what the plan is. A ten commandments of the New World Order so to speak, carved in stone, openly calling for the elimination of nearly 7 billion human beings. Check it out for yourself.
