Just hours ago police engaged a violent suspect at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Police are said to have locked down the neighborhood "like a warzone" according to residents. One officer is reported to have been killed in the confrontation and the suspect is alleged to have thrown bombs from a vehicle during the fight.
Now it is being reported that the suspect may have actually been Boston bombing "Suspect #1." Included in these reports is a name for the suspect, Mike Mulugeta. Some sources indicate that the suspect was killed in the shootout while other sources are saying that the suspect is in police custody.
Also being circulated tonight is the possible identity of "Suspect #2" named as Sunil Trapathi. The Brown University student has been missing since March 16, and is said to have left behind a note of "possible" suicidal intent.

Some reports are stating that the incident involved a carjacking and numerous explosions. Police radio chatter indicated possible IED's and to power down all cellphones in the area. One suspect may have been killed, a second may be in custody, and a third may still be on the run from police, according to various sources.
